This page explains how CySec 2026's website uses cookies and similar local storage. In short: we don't run analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind on this site — the little we do store is strictly to make the site work.
Last updated: September 2026.
This site sets no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We do not run tools like Google Analytics or any ad pixel, and we do not build a profile of your visit.
We use your browser's local storage for one purpose: to remember that you have seen and dismissed the cookie notice, so it doesn't reappear on every visit. This is strictly functional and does not identify you.
Where this site links out — for example to the BCSA events platform for registration, or to the CyberBattle CTF site — those destinations may set their own cookies under their own policies once you land on them. This policy only covers cysec.bcsa.bn.
Because nothing non-essential is set, there is no tracking to opt out of. If you'd still like to clear the stored dismissal so the cookie notice reappears, you can do so from your browser's site settings or by clearing local storage for this site.
