CySec 2026 is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful and harassment-free experience for everyone — regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or technical background. This code applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers and organisers, across all conference venues and related events.

Be considerate, respectful and collaborative. Engage with one another in good faith and assume good intent.
Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behaviour and speech.
Be mindful of your surroundings and of fellow participants. Alert organisers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.
Harassment, intimidation or discrimination in any form, including offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwelcome photography or recording, and sustained disruption of talks or other events.
Inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.
As a cybersecurity conference, demonstrations and discussions of vulnerabilities are expected. Do not access, attack, or interfere with networks, systems, devices or data that you are not explicitly authorised to test — including the venue and conference infrastructure, the CTF environment, and other attendees' devices.
Treat any sensitive material shared in closed-door or invite-only sessions as confidential unless the speaker states otherwise. Respect TLP (Traffic Light Protocol) markings where used.
Official photography and filming take place throughout the event for documentation and promotion. By attending, you may appear in these materials.
Do not photograph, film or record individuals without consent, and do not record closed-door or invite-only sessions.
If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, or have any concerns, contact a member of the organising team (identifiable by their conference lanyards) or the secretariat immediately. Reports will be handled discreetly. Organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning or expelling an offender from the conference without refund.
